BSLI is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business

Posted On: Feb 27, 2018

BioScience Laboratories, Inc. has always been a veteran-owned small business, but now we are officially registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Many corporations in the private sector give preference to companies owned by veterans when seeking business partners for goods and services. It is the ultimate show of support for the sacrifices veterans have made. People want to do business with companies that support the men and women who have served our country. If your company has a registration process available through your procurement department to be set up as a disadvantaged business, please contact us and we are happy to work through that process to be recognized as an SDVOSB in your system. We are proud to be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and look forward to demonstrating our capabilities to support your goals!

In the words of Dr. Daryl S. Paulson:

"When I graduated from high school I did not know what I wanted to do, so I joined the U.S. Marine Corps. I passed the entrance test for a Vietnamese language course and was sent to Washington, D.C. for 47 weeks to learn the Vietnamese language. In the summer of 1968, I was sent to Vietnam where I was assigned to the 1st Marine Division, 5th Marine Regiment at An Hoa Combat Base. I do not know how I survived the 13 months, but I did. It was very, very bad. In 1969, I came home and started college. While in college, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I could only drink and suffer, drink and suffer.

I also have a hearing loss from all the explosions around me in combat. The PTSD and the hearing loss resulted in a 50% disability. I founded this company to make a difference in the world and we are now a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business."
