Summary:

This study involves research to determine the ability of one product to kill bacteria on the skin of the hands.

Study Qualifications:

• Must be between 18 and 80 years of age
• Must possess both hands and all ten digits
• Must have no rashes, hangnails, or breaks in the skin of the hands or forearms, and no inflammatory skin conditions anywhere on the body
• Must be in good general health
• Have known allergies or sensitivities to latex (natural rubber), alcohols, sunscreens, deodorants, laundry detergents, cleansers, soaps, lotions, to topical application of fragrances (e.g., perfumes, colognes, etc.), or common antibacterial agents, Chloroxylenol PCMX, chlorhexidine gluconate or ethanol
• Cannot have ever experienced hives as reaction to anything that contacted the skin
• Cannot be receiving any antibiotic medications or steroids during the 7-day pre-test period
• Cannot be receiving any antihistamines 2-days prior to the single test day
• Have an Implanon^®/Nexplanon^® or any other dermal-implanted birth control device that has been implanted within the past 6 months;
• Have pins, screws, plates, rods, or dental implants less than 6 months healed;
